Soundtrack
These are some of the songs we would want to see be used if The Epic of Gilgamesh became a movie.
This scene would feature the battle with Humbaba. We use dramatic music to create an excitement as Gilgamesh and Enkidu fight the giant Humbaba.
In this scene, Enkidu has a dream where he is taken to Hell. The gods plan on killing him because of what they did to Humbaba.
Shortly after Enkidu dies, Gilgamesh realizes that he will not live for ever. That his name will be one day forgotten and that ultimately he is just dust in the wind.
This scene takes place in utnapishtim's home. Gilgamesh is told to stay awake for 6 days and 7 nights. Although he fails, this song will capture hes intentions when he tries.
At the end of the movie, Gilgamesh ends up falling short and never obtains immortality. This song signifies that he is accepting his fate. This song also is a good song to play at the credits possibly.
